Windows by Grace was started January 1, 1987 by Mike and Grace Bowers (yes, there really is a Grace!). We started out part time as Mike was in sales for carpeting and Grace was teaching school. The demand for our products became such that in October of 1988, we opened our first store at 3370 North Courtenay Parkway and became a full-time operation. On April 1, 2000, we opened our second store at 2535 North Harbor City Boulevard in Melbourne (at the intersection of Lake Washington Boulevard and US1).

Circumstances forced us to move out of the Merritt Island location in early 2005 and, wanting to have a location on Merritt Island, moved into 2072 North Courtenay Parkway. With the economy being what it is and being tied to real estate, we decided to close the Merritt Island operation and consolidate totally in Melbourne at the beginning of 2007.

Windows by Grace, Inc. is a Showcase dealer for Hunter Douglas. What that means is that we have made a commitment to Hunter Douglas products in an effort to offer our clients the best possible quality products available. It also offers us the opportunity to have exclusive products, rebates and sales  not available to just any dealer who sells Hunter Douglas products.

We do have access to other companies' products, such as Graber, Aveno, Comfortex and others.

We also do all types of drapes, top treatments, cornice boards, bed spreads, table cloths, pillows and many other decorating items for your home. No, we are not "interior decorators" but we are decorators with an eye for color, design and flair.
